Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager, Agentic AI to design, develop, and deploy advanced agentic solutions providing user value in our Salesforce products. In this role, you will contribute technical expertise building and managing in-product features, AWS infrastructure, and provide strategic insight to drive innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, spanning product, engineering, data engineering and data science, to deliver AI and agentic powered solutions into scalable, real-world applications. You will lead and grow a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and backend developers while being a hands-on technical leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and optimize AI, LLM features and Agentic AI
- Design and implement production-grade multi-agent and agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Salesforce AgentForce.
- Build and maintain robust MLOps practices including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, drift detection, cost monitoring, and real-time observability for autonomous agents (AgentOps).
- Lead end-to-end development: leading the creation of in-product features and the supporting backend required to deliver the feature.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster best practices in AI, LLM and Agentic.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate features into production systems with reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Stay current on emerging trends, frameworks, and research to drive innovation within the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are ethical, explainable, and compliant with industry standards such as bias testing, safety guardrails, and/or familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and 3+ years in engineering management
- 3+ years experience in AI/LLM development, and Agentic AI with demonstrated experience of successfully launching and scaling agentic AI or generative AI products in recent years.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch or JAX, Hugging Face ecosystem, LangChain/LangGraph, AWS Bedrock + SageMaker, vector databases (Pinecone/Weaviate/Qdrant), RAG pipelines, and prompt optimization frameworks (DSPy, Guidance, Outlines).
- Experience integrating AI features into CRM platforms (ideally Salesforce)
Bonus:
- Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, or launching products on Salesforce, specifically AgentForce
- Familiarity with fundraising practices and metrics (e.g., donor lifetime value, conversion rates).
- Hands-on experience building with or extending Salesforce AgentForce, Einstein, or Data Cloud.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
Compensation Range: $200,000 - $300,000 CAD OTE annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
