Position Summary:
As Senior Product Manager for the Fundraising Platform, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for the platform. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that sits at the intersection of technology, product innovation, and social impact.
You will be responsible for shaping and delivering solutions that further the capabilities of the platform, including delivering AI-powered features that help nonprofits fundraise smarter and work more efficiently. You will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery. This role requires a senior-level product leader who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, making thoughtful tradeoffs, and driving execution in a lean, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Fundraising Platform Vision & Strategy
- Develop and champion a clear, forward-looking product vision aligned with Kindsight’s company strategy and growth goals.
- Identify high-impact opportunities to further the capabilities of the platform, delivering AI-powered features that solve meaningful customer problems.
- Serve as the product authority for the Fundraising Platform capabilities, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term platform strategy.
- Lead End-to-End Product Development
- Own the full product lifecycle—from discovery and concept through delivery, launch, and iteration.
- Define product requirements, write high-quality user stories, and partner closely with Design and Engineering to deliver solutions on time and at high quality.
- Make thoughtful scope and priority tradeoffs to maximize customer and business value.
- Drive Customer-Led Product Decisions
- Engage deeply with our nonprofit customers to understand workflows, constraints, and success metrics.
- Translate customer needs into validated product opportunities through research, discovery, and continuous feedback loops. Act as the voice of the users, ensuring their needs are considered in product development.
- Own and Evolve the Product Roadmap
- Develop, maintain, and continuously refine a product roadmap that aligns with the broader team and company objectives, customer outcomes, and market trends.
- Champion a data-informed approach to investment decisions, aligning roadmap features with revenue, retention, and profitability targets.
- Clearly communicate roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to stakeholders and senior leaders across the organization.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution
- Develop clear and actionable product specifications, collaborating with Design and Engineering teams to ensure alignment.
- Partner with Engineering to create robust technical plans, improve development velocity, and resolve execution challenges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product Marketing to align product development with customer and business objectives, ensuring strong go-to-market alignment.
- Measure Outcomes and Drive Continuous Improvement
- Define and track key product success metrics (KPIs) to measure adoption, customer value, and business impact.
- Use data and customer insight to iterate, optimize performance, and inform future investments.
- Provide clear, consistent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
About You - Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS and/or enterprise software. Proven track record of delivering and scaling products in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. Experience owning product strategy and roadmap for a complex domain or portfolio. Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Scrum principles and backlog management.
- Strategic Thinker: You see the big picture and can connect customer problems, emerging technology (including AI), and business outcomes.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on articulating complex customer problems and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding and serving nonprofit customers, with a deep sense of empathy and mission alignment.
- Execution-Oriented: You know how to move from strategy to shipped product, with a strong focus on outcomes and learning. Experience managing external partnerships and integrations. Ability to work autonomously and take on significant responsibility.
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, or fundraising technology.
- Familiarity with the fundraising sector and related technologies.
- Experience launching products on Salesforce, Agentforce or Bedrock, or building AI-powered features using platforms like Bedrock or Agentforce.
Compensation Range: $130,000 - $150,000 CAD OTE annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
